A day in our Pjs

November 22nd, 2013

Dear Katelynn,

Mommy decided to start this blog just for you. I love you so much and I want you to know how wonderful my life is with you in it.

You just started Pre-K at Maternity B.V.M. (same gradeschool as mommy) this year and you absolutely love it. That's you on your first day of school. I was so afraid you would have a hard time being away from me. I was a stay at home mom for 4 1/2 years. I have your dad to thank for that...he works very hard for his family. You have the best teachers. Mrs Kozin (one of your teachers) keeps telling me how wonderful you are...and I couldn't agree more! Your sweet, caring, loving, smart, funny, cute...well I could go on and on. You make mommy so proud! Your learning so much at school...you sing me songs, you know a few prayers. I love wtching you learn new things. But anyway as you can see mommy loves to write especially to you baby. Today you were supposed to have a half day at school and mommy is off from work (I work at the Free Library of Philadelphia right now). I deceided I wanted to keep you home from school to spend some time with you, I've been missing you since you started school and I started working again. When I told you that you weren't going to school today you cried your eyes out. You told me they would miss you and you loved to play at school. I felt so bad but I still had you stay home with me.I let you have a tootsie roll to make you feel better. I can only hope you love school this much when your older.
We spent the day in our pjs watching Mickey's Christmas and The Polar Express. For lunch we used cookie cutters to make shapes out of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. And we ate some mint chocolate chip ice cream (your favorite!) We looked online at the Toys R Us website to what you want Santa to bring you for Christmas. You found a box and made it a car. It was the cutest thing.

You dressed up your baby dolls in their "Thanksgiving" dresses and took pictures of them.

And you sang me the Thanksgiving song you learned at school.
(Sung to to the tune of Hi Ho the Dario lol)
Thanksgiving time is here!Let's give a great big cheer! For food and friends and family! Thanksgiving time is here!

Your daddy has been working a lot lately so it's just you and I for the next few hours. I did ask him to buy us some good crayons and markers so we can make Thanksgiving Decorations tomorrow. I can't wait.

Another Blessed day with you in my life.

Love,
Mommy
